The Final Remarks
As wireless technology is the communication interface of the future, the practicality and industrial profitability of this a particular project become more apparent. Not only is this applicable to many other vehicle’s functions control, but applications also exist in the control of electrical appliances in homes or businesses. Examples of more complex car features that could be developed are: real-time engine tuning and monitoring, systems status and control, vehicle location update, and anti-theft response.
The basic goal of the project was to interface a mobile device and the HC11 via wireless Bluetooth. This was successfully achieved. With a robust connection and communication protocol, adding other functions is simply done by choosing the function, designing the circuit and assigning the function some communication characters.
